It's champurrado time in Tucson! Winter seems to be upon us early here and nothing hits the spot on a cold day like a cup of hot and thick cinnamon chocolate goodness! The bean burros here are also really flavorful.

I first started working there when they opened years ago. Carmen the cook was awesome but Juan the owner is shady. The food was made fresh daily by Carmen while Juan was looking for meat all damn day! I liked the food then but I don't know what changed?

The food is excellent. I've recommended it to everyone who is looking for awesome Birria tacos. Today, the service was awful. Took long to take my order, then took it with an attitude as if I were bothering them. Sitting is only in an enclosed patio with fans and a swamp cooler. I moved a bistro table for two to where the air was blowing. It was 105 degrees in there. When I got my order, the same rude lady told me I should not move the table. I told her I'd put it back when we were down, her comment, "It's not that, you just don't move them" I proceeded to eat the food at the table I moved, accompanied by my granddaughter. Two minutes later they turned off the air. Unfortunately for them they had other clients who were suffering with the heat, as the ladies were rude, stubborn, unfriendly, and decided to turn off the air. This has been a favorite of mine for food. Today not sure if I'm returning.

Cash only restaurant. Very inconvenient. Employee was not friendly. Restaurant exterior looks grungy but the inside is okay. It's a rough area so that's probably why. I'd love to be able to tell you about the food but I didn't have the motivation to go get cash and return.

It is always an amazing experience served with mouth-watering flavors at reasonable prices. They have a nice sink, so you can wash your hands. Cash Only business.

THE FOOD IS GOOD BUT I DON'T THINK THEY APPRECIATE THEIR COSTUMERS, THEY WERE VERY RUDE TO ME JUST BECAUSE I ASKED THEM WHERE I COULD PARK, BECAUSE ALL THE EMPLOYEES HAD ALL THE PARKING SPACES TAKEN, THERE WERE ONLY TWO CLIENTS EATING AND NO PARKING, I GUESS THEY DON'T CARE WHERE THEIR CLIENTS PARK, THEY JUST WANT TO SELL THEIR FOOD, BUT HARDLY NO PARKING FOR CLIENTS, IT'S HARD, AND I SEE THAT THEY DON'T CARE,

Not many veggie or kosher options, but had the green corn tamales and fish tacos. Very tasty for what I had, but not exactly great since these were the only things I could get.
